How long have you played your instrument and how did you get started?I played drums when I was in middle school, then quit, then picked it up about 10 years later.
What other musical projects have you been involved with?The Cost of Living, Ford Prefect, the Curious, and a Dead Lois.
What are some of your biggest inspirations musically?Any drummer who played with Joan Jett and trains.
How did you get involved with Heist?My friend Dann was a regular at a coffee shop where Heidi worked. After I quit A Dead Lois, he mentioned Heidi was in a band. She said she was thinking about getting a bassist. I was intrigued. I went and saw them play at the Lunch Paper and desperately wanted to be writing bass lines to Heidi's guitar riffs. I resolved to annoy her until I was playing bass for Heist. It worked. Then we needed a drummer and actually playing drums was easier than trying to find a drummer in Athens. So I did that.
Anything else you want to mention?Don't sell your soul to Satan to be a kick ass blues guitarist. It's not worth it.
